Job Description SummaryThis Staff Technical Product Manager role
is responsible for building the strategy and driving execution of
digital solutions in the Inspection Technology space, to support GE
Aerospace's pursuit of Zero Defect Culture. The person in this role
will leverage technology, process, and domain expertise to develop
and communicate the product roadmap, deliver product features,
enhancements, and bug fixes, and balance customer needs with
business strategy. They will meet cybersecurity requirements, lead
quality assurance and release processes, and minimize code defects
and technical debt.Specifically, this role will lead product
management of a portfolio of business-critical Inspection
Technology applications used by multiple Supply Chain and MRO
sites. Technologies managed include NDT (non-destructive testing)
image-based and CMM (coordinate measuring machine) inspections.
These inspection technologies and processes are highly regulated
and enable the Supply Chain to produce conforming jet engine
hardware.The right digital solutions and successful implementations
can significantly reduce quality risk of our parts and engines. The
person in this role will partner closely with Quality leadership to
collaboratively define the roadmap to meet critical Quality needs
across new make Supply Chain and MRO shops to ensure GE Aerospace
has best-in-class Inspection Technologies.Job DescriptionRoles and
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Learn required business acumen, stay up to date on latest
industry trends, and establish reputation as an internal expert on
the product and associated competitive landscape.
- Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC
requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product
feedback.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and
significant products.
- Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact
on final product.
- Routinely collaborate with UX in design decisions. Conduct
customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on
personas.
- Demonstrate superior influencing skills to ensure alignment
between customer, product manager, and engineering teams.
- Own product roadmap, backlog execution, and release management
process.
- Create and prioritize user stories in backlog for new features,
enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring that 1-2 sprints/iterations
of backlog are always ready.
- Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding
and validation of customer problems and needs.
- Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and
ability to navigate through ambiguity.
- Engage with and influence internal development teams or
influence vendor development teams to align with backlog
priority.
- Own User Acceptance Testing and ensure Quality Assurance to
minimize defects in deployments.
- Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into
actionable user stories and features.
- Partner with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure
healthy development process.
- Manage application support and development contractors.
- Manage budget for software licenses, maintenance, development,
and contractors.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Be an expert in Agile Methodology.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with
minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree
with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School
Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical product
management or Inspection Technologies.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional

US:The base pay range for this position is $110,700-$184,600 USD.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors,
including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the
plan. This posting is expected to close on April 11th,
