Job Description:

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:


Execute migration projects from BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.
Design, develop, test and document data integrations with source systems such as S4/HANA, BW4/HANA etc., and assist with deployment, validation and hyper care.
Build and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading into the BW/4HANA environment.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement best-in-class SAP BW/4HANA systems.
Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for BW/4HANA systems, ensuring high availability and optimized performance.

Must Have:


BW4/HANA Migration experience from BW 7 systems (which also includes).
Expertise in BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Architecture using Advanced Data Store Objects (aDSOs), Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, HANA Calculation Views, Table Functions, Info Objects & Queries.
Strong understanding of star schema and experience in designing efficient data models for analytical processing.
Expertise in configuring and managing Data Sources, data flows, and process chains to automate data loading and transformation using ODP/ODQ Monitoring.
Proficiency in using HANA Studio (Eclipse) for developing and managing HANA views and monitoring performance.
Ability to create CDS views to extract S4/HANA data to BW4/HANA and enable Delta functionalities.
BW/4HANA Query Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing queries and improving reporting performance using SAP BW query design, aggregates, and HANA pushdown techniques.
Ability to leverage AMDP for data extraction, transformation, and real-time complex data processing within BW/4HANA and HANA systems.
Experience in tuning and optimizing AMDP procedures to handle complex calculations and data operations more efficiently.
Ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot process chains using ABAP logic.
Data Modeling.
Software Documentation.
Backend Programming (SQL).
Software Design/Development.

Nice to have:


Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Integration: Knowledge of integrating BW/4HANA with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and using Fiori apps for visualizations.
SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ): Familiarity with integrating and using SAP BOBJ tools like Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Lumira for front-end reporting.

Working from Home:


This position is remote. The candidate is able to work remotely from any location. They may be asked to take up to 4 trips per calendar year to Lexington if the program/project requires it.
Candidates must be able to support EST hours.

Clearance:


Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance. Candidates with an active secret are highly preferred.
