Job Description:
A company is looking for a Renewables Transmission Planning &
Interconnection Manager, Technical Studies.
Key Responsibilities
Supports transmission planning interconnection studies for
operational and development needs
Facilitates power flow, stability, and dynamic analysis using
various modeling tools
Develops tools in Python, SQL, and/or MS Excel to automate the
study process and supports renewable interconnection
stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
or Power Systems Engineering
Hands-on experience with power flow modeling and interconnection
studies
Experience leading transmission and interconnection initiatives
Understanding of the transmission interconnection application
process and electricity market policy
Working knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy operations
