Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payment and Practice Management
Manager to oversee payment and practice management issues with
payers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director with coding and payment-related projects,
including RUC surveys and CPT coding proposals
Manage RUC activities, including survey development and crafting
recommendations based on results
Monitor coding/payment issues and provide expert responses to
complex billing inquiries from members
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is highly
desired
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, particularly with
CPT code proposals and RUC projects
Strong understanding of medical practice and payer policies,
especially in anesthesia/pain
Experience with medical coding, particularly anesthesia coding, is
preferred
Analytical ability related to payment policies from government and
commercial payers
