Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a engineering
technician to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our
Nashua, New Hampshire Electronic Warfare Integration Manufacturing
Center (EWIMC)/ Box Build Assembly (BB) facility supporting
TacAir/Small Form Factor Systems (SFFS) programs. Working closely
with multi-disciplinary teams and being able to adapt to a rapidly
changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting
opportunity to influence the successful execution of production
goals and achieving operational excellence.This role requires:
- Review and understanding of technical content of drawings,
engineering specifications, Engineering Change Orders, test specs,
and other manufacturing documentation
- Daily production assembly support
- Create rework plans for factory defects
- Create, and update work instructions for process clarity or
deficiencies
- Create, process, and support non-conformances in the quality
manufacturing execution system
- Support of the test areas for process plan clerical needs due
to lower-level subassembly reworks out of chassis from the test
cells.Operational conformance through required command media is key
for success in this role. Must be able to mostly work independent
on a daily basis with oversight from the process engineers as
support. This role will also encompass work with Process
Engineering on projects, process improvements, and problem
resolutions in these factories. This role requires close
collaboration with test engineers, Value Stream Specialists (VSS),
operators, technicians, quality orgs, and program personnel to
drive process technical solutions to closure with a continuous
improvement, better than before type of mentality. Because of the
need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement
to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular
role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will
be conducted on location at a BAE Systems Spit Brook Road facility
100% of the time on first shift working a 9/80 schedule.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or
equivalent experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- MilStd, IPC, JSTD experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems related to
Processing Production Hardware, such as Solumina Configuration and
CIVR requirements, Tipqa.
- Understanding of technical assembly drawings, test procedures,
Environmental Stress Screening procedures.Pay InformationFull-Time
Salary Range: $56195 - $89912Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
