  • Job Details
  • Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
  • Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  • May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
  • Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACs applications.
  • Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
  • Maintains department competencies as required.

    • 2 Years experience
    • 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE
    • ARRT (R) Certification - Required
    • Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
    • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
    • Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
    • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile

      • RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
      • NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

        • COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM.
        • Exemption forms are available in Trio/Downloadable Forms (Both forms REQUIRE Provider/Religious Leader Signatures).
        • IF APPROVED BY HEALTHSYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE.
        • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need.
        • Berkshire Health System WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY.
